“Sometimes the material sets its own mood. In this project for LIME, BrownCode line, we worked with the frames so that every element of the space could reveal a new voice. The original photograph became our starting point: we completely reimagined the shot — changed the color and texture of the wood captured in the studio, and integrated digital elements that weren’t present during the shoot, to highlight natural imperfection and the living texture of the material.
Some fragments of wood required up to ten generations of texture, which, through compositing, became a seamless part of the whole.
This is how a new balance emerged — between reality and imagination, between what was captured and what came to life in the process.”
